Health promotion education must adapt new contents and methods faster than ever. Health professionals face barriers in carrying out effective health promotion and disease prevention To indicate what are the needs for curriculum development in educational programmes, we will dicsuss our Course in 3 parts: 

  1. first part will discuss general overview about Health promotion education , role of counseling in health prmotion , Research Methods In Health Promotion and oral health education and promotion
  2. 2nd part will discuss more topics in health education and promotion like : Asthma Patients , CVD , DM .
  3.  3rd part will talk about women health , Smoking cessation , nutritional counselling , and physical activity in relation to mental health.

Course Overview

In training stations that last 7 hours , Health promotion strategies for patients with or at risk of Cigarette smoking , factors influencing Education of Physical Fitness and Wellness and Nutrition Counselling

This part will discuss the Mother’s health as Caregivers, Women are often the primary caregivers within families and communities. Their health directly impacts the well-being of children, the elderly, and other dependents. A healthy woman is better equipped to nurture and care for others.

“The Early Bird Advantage” refers to the potential benefits gained by consistently waking up early. It’s more than just rising before the sun; it’s about strategically using those extra morning hours to enhance productivity, well-being, and overall quality of life.

By the end of the course, participants will gain practical knowledge about Oral health education which is a crucial aspect of overall well-being. It involves teaching individuals and communities about the importance of maintaining healthy teeth and gums, and providing them with the knowledge and skills to do so.

Training needs

  1. Lack of knowledges about Nutrition Counselling.
  2. Lack of Health Risks and Public Awareness about smoking.
  3. Limited access for general councelling about Sexually Transmitted Diseases.
  4. Less awarness methods about councelling of harmful effects of alcohol.
  5. Lack of infrmation about warning signs of vitamin D deficiency.
  6. lack of inforamtion about The importance of visiting a dentist for regular checkups and cleanings, typically every six months.
  7. limited access about the science behind sleep-wake cycles and how they’re influenced by light and other factors.
  8. Lack of knowing the affects the central nervous system

Outcomes

  1. Learn the methods of Public Awareness about smoking.
  2. Understand role of counselor in addressing any behavioral barriers that may be preventing you from achieving your dietary goals.
  3. Recognize Access to quality reproductive healthcare, including family planning, prenatal care, and safe childbirth, is crucial for maternal and infant health.
  4. Demonstrating the correct way to brush teeth, including the angle of the toothbrush, the pressure to apply, and the duration of brushing.
  5. Establish a consistent morning routine to give yourself something to look forward to.
  6. Teach People about the dangers of rabies and the importance of avoiding contact with unfamiliar animals.
