Description

Individual screening involves identifying and evaluating the risk factors that predispose an individual to certain diseases. This can be done through various diagnostic tests, such as blood pressure checks, cholesterol level tests, and cancer screening. Early detection of these risk factors allows for timely intervention and treatment, which significantly reduces the chances of developing a disease. Screening is the process of identifying healthy people who may have an increased chance for disease so this lecture focus on aim of screening and examples.
